WINTER LEAGUE

The Rhode Island Futsal League will offer a longer session of play with all teams guaranteed nine (9) games and with the top four teams in divisions with more than four teams and top two teams with divisions with four teams or less making the playoffs. Games will be played on Saturday and Sunday.

League Dates:​ (starts on December 7 - December 8, 2024)​

• December 7-8, 14-15, 21-22

• January 4-5, 11-12, 18-19, 25-26

• February 1-2

• Playoffs on February 8-9

Games will be played on Saturday and Sunday.

Dates are subject to change.

League has final discretion.

Investment:

•  $1,100.00 per team - register using the link

All league payments must be paid by credit card online through the registration link.

​

There is an American Futsal Association Fee per player and coach. For team managers that plan to fill in for coaches or be on the sideline, the team managers will also need to register. Cost is $15 dollars per player and $20 dollars per coach/team manager.

​

The fee is good from August 1, 2024 - July 31, 2025 for all American Futsal Association sanctioned events.

Locations:

• West Warwick Civic Center - 100 Factory St, West Warwick, RI

Divisions:

• Recreational - Town - U8-U19

• Competitive - Club / Competitive - U8-U19

• Elite - Highest Level Futsal Play - U13-U19 (MLS, ECNL, ECRL, Futsal Clubs, etc...)

Age Groups:

• Teams will be divided into boys and girls divisions.​

• Single age groups

  • U8, U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14;

  • HS JV (U15/16)

  • Varsity (U17/19)

Number of League Games:

• Each team will be guaranteed 9 league games.

• Top 4 teams in divisions with more than four teams and Top 2 teams in divisions with four or less make play-offs.

Duration of Games: (during regular season)

• Games will be 40 minutes

• Two twenty minutes halves

• One time out per team per half

• One minute each time out

​

Running Clock:

• Only referee can stop the clock.

​

​

Coaches, Team Managers, and Player Registrations:​

• Once the team is accepted, further communications will be sent on how to create the team roster to include registering players, team managers, and coaches.
